Farouk (Born Mohammed Umar Farouk 16 March ) is a Nigerian news
carrier
blogger, writer, entrepreneur. He is best known for his blog.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Mohammed
was born and raised in a Muslim Family Kogi State. He is the second child. Mohammed
began his hobby in writing at the age of 10. He finished secondary school at
the age of 17 and, at 18, enrolled at the University of Technology Minna Niger
State, where He studied Civil Engineering. In 2014, he started blogging as a
hobby. At that time, the internet was not as pronounced in Nigeria and he had
to make his posts at a cybercafé.
BLOGGING
Mohammed
started blogging in 2014. He became an active blogger 2015 using a blogger sub-domain
and later obtained his custom domain www.conceptmagazines.blogspot.com
PHILANTHROPY
Mohammed
runs a non-profit project themed Empowering The Poor; In his interview with Ari Sound Entertainment,
he revealed that through the project, he assists young girls aged 16–25 who
have great business ideas and are willing to venture into entrepreneurship.

Farouk was the biggest Google Search trend in Nigeria for 2014. The name Mohammed
Farouk was the most searched item by users of Google in Nigeria.
